I recently joined “GoodReads”. For those who know me, not surprisingly the majority of my reading is Science Fiction. I joke that I have “a weakness for cheap pulp science fiction.” Nevertheless, I was a bit taken aback when somebody I know commented that he was surprised I wasted my time with Science Fiction. I corrected him on his misconception as politely as I could.
Marcia Radosevich does an excellent job defending a much maligned genre. Science Fiction is where our knowledge of the universe meets the imagination. H.G Wells imagined us walking on the moon. Bradbury imagined us visiting Mars and beyond. Without the visionaries, we are trapped on our little blue green marble.
Thank you Ms. Radosevich
